A home-and-home Spring Training series against the Yankees highlights the Mets' 31-game exhibition game schedule that was announced by the team on Monday.
The Mets face the Yankees at 2:10 p.m. ET on April 3 at Digital Domain Park in Port St. Lucie, Fla. The following day, the Mets travel to Tampa, Fla., to face the Yankees at 12:05 p.m.
It's the first time the two teams have had a home-and-home series in the spring since 1996.
The Mets open their 2012 Spring Training schedule on March 5 at 6:10 p.m. against the Nationals. That will be the first of 15 home games in Grapefruit League play.
The Mets will play the World Series champion Cardinals six times in Spring Training, the Nationals, Marlins and Braves five times, and the Astros and Tigers four times in exhibition play.

Also Monday, the Mets, in conjunction with Spring Training USA, announced the launch of the 2012 Amazin' Getaways Spring Training packages, with four Friday departures from New York scheduled for March 9, March 16, March 23 and March 30.
All packages include hotel accommodations, rental car and game tickets. The March 16 and March 23 package also includes a meet-and-greet with a Mets player or coach.
