FLUSHING, N.Y., June 3, 2014 - The New York Mets today announced that 50 Cent will be joined by the rest of G-Unit Saturday, June 14 at Citi Field following the 4:10 p.m. Mets-Padres game. Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Young Buck, Kidd Kidd and more special guests will perform with 50 Cent at the post-game concert. The hometown performance kicks off the Mets Concert Series presented by Duane Reade and is in support of his new album Animal Ambition, which is being released today. 50 Cent, a Grammy-award winning rapper who has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, rose to fame with the release of Get Rich or Die Tryin' which was certified eight-times platinum. In 2009, Billboard named 50 Cent as the No. 1 rapper and one of the top 10 artists of the decade. The Jamaica, Queens-native has also received numerous accolades including 13 Billboard Music Awards, six World Music Awards, three American Music Awards and four BET Awards.

The post-game concert will begin approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the Mets game from a stage in the outfield behind second base. Admission to the concert is included in the price of the game ticket.
