MILWAUKEE -- Mets manager Terry Collins lost a challenge in the seventh inning of Thursday night's game against Milwaukee that kept his leadoff hitter from reaching base.

The challenge came when David Wright hit a ground ball up the middle that was fielded by Rickie Weeks behind second base. Weeks threw to first base, where Wright was called out on a close play.

After replay, the call at first stood. Had the call been reversed, Wright would have been driven in by Lucas Duda's home run in the next at-bat.
