Patrick Joshua (P.J.) Conlon graduated from El Dorado (CA) High School where he posted a career 2.15 ERA and 111 strikeouts...Attended the University of San Diego... Became the first freshman in USD history to begin a season 9-0...Was a two-time all-WCC first-team selection (freshman and junior seasons)...Helped lead USD to a West Coast Conference Championship as a junior...Was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland before his parents moved the family to California in 1996...The only Belfast native to play in the major leagues was Harry McIlveen for the New York Highlanders from 1906-1909...Younger brother, Noah, is a freshman at UC San Diego...Noah is a middle infielder and a righthanded pitcher.
